Our restaurant dedicated to the highest ideals of traditional English/European cuisine.

Our accredited resident chef, James, has a passion and respect for European cuisine and combined with his creative flair and understanding the menu is traditional yet innovative.
The best quality ingredients, many locally sourced, produce a richly varied menu and beautifully crafted dishes.

The Wine Cellar, personally selected by the proprietors and head chef, offers a wide variety of fine wines to compliment your meal.

Our dedicated team of waiting staff will make every effort to fulfill your expectations and always serve with a smile!
The classic décor in delectable chocolate, coffee and cream will wet your appetite for the dining experience to follow.

Seating up to 55 guests, the restaurant can cater for large groups but still offer an intimate dining experience.

A Sample Breakfast Menu

  • Freshly Brewed Tea or Coffee
  • A Choice of Chilled Fruit Juices
  • A Selection of Breakfast Cereal
  • Hot Porridge
  • Toast

Traditional English Breakfast of:

  • Egg
  • Bacon
  • Sausage
  • Hash Brown
  • Grilled Tomato
  • Baked Beans

Breakfast is served from 8am until 9am

(Sundays 8am until 9.30am).

A Sample Dinner Menu

  • Broccoli and Stilton Soup
  • Duck and Port Pate with an Onion Chutney
  • Caesar Salad with Warm Poached Egg

  • Braised Red wine and Rosemary Steak
  • Whole Grilled Seabass with Creamy Spinach Sauce
  • Baked Mushrooms topped with Roasted Root Vegetables and Mozzarella
  • Aubergine Lasagne

All served with seasonal Vegetables

  • Brandy Bread and Butter Pudding with Chocolate Custard
  • Tofee Apple Fudgecake and Cream
  • Selection of Ice Creams
  • Fresh Fruit Salad

Light lunches are also available from 12 noon until 2pm in the lounge or on the sun terrace.
Packed Lunches can also be prepared for days out or long journeys ahead, please request early (at least 24 hours in advance).
We are happy to cater for special diets with prior notice.
